General Ledger Accountant
45-55K and 15% Bonus
Role:
As a General Ledger Accountant, you will be responsible for supporting both the controller and assistant controller in the general accounting functions. This will include general ledger accounting, month end close, revenue accounting, journal entries, reporting, trail balances, fixed assets, etc. This role will have a critical impact on the revenue cycle which would include billing, accounts receivable, collections, revenue recognition, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Assist controller and Assistant Controller with journal entries, general ledger, month end close, trail balances and financial statement preparation
- Perform account reconciliations as well as analysis for various general ledgers
- Perform revenue accounting; revenue recognition, etc.
- Assist in the preparation and review of accounts receivables, collections, billings, etc.
- Work within Excel to create customize reports
- Work cross functionally with different division leaders to understand accounting impacts
- Ad hoc projects
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required.
- 2 years of accounting experience, general ledger experience is required
- The ability to work with all levels of accounting and non-accounting professionals
- Workday, SAP, Oracle or other ERP experience is a huge plus
Compensation:
A very competitive compensation package will be available for this position including base salary, monthly and annual bonuses (typically 15% annually), medical, dental, vision, 401K, profit sharing, wellness programs, vacation and sick time, paid holidays, employee growth, educational trainings and certifications, etc.
Working Situation:
This is Hybrid situation with 4 days in the office - Monday, Tues, Wed, Thurs in office.
