Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team. The Assistant Director of Nursing will play a pivotal role in supporting the Director of Nursing in overseeing the nursing department and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals undergoing detoxification and recovery. This is a leadership role that requires strong management skills, extensive knowledge of nursing practices, and the ability to ensure the highest level of patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Director of Nursing in the day-to-day operations of the nursing department
• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to nursing staff to ensure adherence to clinical policies and procedures
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients
• Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes, making recommendations for improvements as needed
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and requirements
• Participate in staff training, development, and performance evaluation processes
• Foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the nursing department

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent; Master's degree preferred
• Current registered nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in nursing, with previous supervisory or management experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of withdrawal management protocols, addiction treatment modalities and psychiatric nursing principles
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in computer systems used for documentation and record keeping

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
