We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our dynamic finance team in the education software industry. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in financial planning, analysis, and reporting, contributing to strategic decision-making processes. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insightful financial recommendations and support the achievement of business goals.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with department heads to develop annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
• Monitor and report on budget variances, identifying trends and proposing corrective actions as necessary.
• Improve and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning and for analyzing various business scenarios and strategic initiatives.
• Analyze financial performance against key business metrics and provide actionable insights to drive business decisions.
• Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports to senior management, highlighting financial and operational performance trends.
• Collaborate with business leaders to ensure financial data accuracy and relevance in decision-making processes.
• Partner with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to understand business drivers and provide financial insights.
• Assists in analyzing and reporting on the Company’s SAAS metrics including ACV, ARR/MRR, CAC, renewal rates, churn.
• Conduct ad hoc financial analysis as required, addressing specific business inquiries and providing recommendations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
• Proven experience (7 years) in financial analysis, preferably within the software industry.
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools; advanced Excel skills are essential.
• Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Experience with financial software systems and ERP systems is preferred.
