LHH is actively seeking a Senior Structrual Engineer for a growing engineering firm company in the Batavia area. This is a great opportunity with a growing company and a chance to play a key role in building out a highly visible department.

This role is responsible for developing basic design, directing the preparation of drawings and specifications and continue to support through the construction process. The ideal candidate must have experience with civil infrastructure projects, concrete and steel structures, steel frame structures and masonry buildings within water and waste water facilities.

The primary responsibilities for this role include

• Preparation for proposals
• Tracking project process
• Monitor project budgets
• Assist with the preparation of drawings and specifications
• Travel to client sites as needed
• Create and deliver presentations
• Identify areas of opportunity
• Additional duties as needed

The ideal candidate profile will have the following qualifications

• BS in Structural Engineering
• Masters in Structural Engineering
• Must have PE and SE certifications
• 15 years of experience
• Previous experience with the concrete, steel, soils, foundation and temporary structures
• Experience in preparation and review of schematics and wiring diagrams
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
