One of LHH’s top clients is looking to hire a full-time Product Developer focusing on their E-Commerce business line. This exciting opportunity is located in Midtown Manhattan and is working on-site at our client’s location 5 days a week. The ideal candidate will be responsible for expanding the organization’s product portfolio, refining the existing product line, and optimizing the packaging and logistics processes. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of analytical acumen, creative flair, and adept project management skills.

Responsibilities:

New Product Development:

• Conduct comprehensive market research and trend analysis to identify promising new product opportunities aligned with our brand ethos and target demographic.
• Lead the conceptualization and development of groundbreaking product ideas, guiding them from inception to market launch.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Product Development, sourcing, and packaging to ensure seamless and efficient product introduction.

Product Line Optimization:

• Continuously refine and enhance our current product offerings by identifying avenues for improvement in materials, techniques, and sizing. Identify opportunities to streamline production processes, making our products more conducive to e-commerce while optimizing costs.
• Implement strategic changes to elevate product quality, durability, and overall customer satisfaction.

Packaging and Logistics Optimization:

• Revamp packaging designs to elevate brand aesthetics and enhance the overall customer experience. Focus on minimizing fulfillment and logistics expenses by optimizing packaging dimensions, folding techniques, and materials.
• Explore innovative packaging solutions such as vacuum sealing to reduce shipping costs and ecological footprint. Develop sustainable strategies to curtail packaging waste and shipping expenses without compromising product integrity.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Product Development, or a related field.
• Demonstrated expertise in product development and project management, preferably within the consumer goods sector.
• Proficient analytical skills with a knack for deciphering and leveraging data to inform strategic decisions.
• A creative mindset coupled with a fervent passion for innovation and problem-solving.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities, with a proven track record of thriving in cross-functional environments.
• Proven ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to stringent deadlines.
• Experience working with Home Textiles, licensed products, and/or children's merchandise would be advantageous.
