Responsibilities
- Organize correspondence and medical reports
- Assist with intake case details including medical summaries
- Schedule appointments and meetings and track deadlines
- Assist attorneys with the preparation and filing of documents
- Conduct legal research while developing a knowledge of workers comp laws
- Drafting of briefs, motions, appeals, accident reports
- Review and follow up on client deadlines
- Consistently complete assigned tasks within required timeframes and deadlines
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Paralegal certificate
- 1 years working in law
- Experience with WCAIS
- Strong verbal and communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Excellent work ethic, proactive and team player
