LHH is seeking Medical Front Office Associates to join our client’s healthcare team in the Flint, MI area. In this role you will be responsible for being the first point of contact for patients coming in for various medical appointments and or procedures.
Type : Full Time / 40 hours a week
Hours : Monday - Friday 8AM -5PM
Duties :
Scheduling and re-scheduling patient appointments.
Be a friendly face to each patient when they arrive.
Help with registration of new patients.
Verifies patient insurance and process specialty referrals.
Update patient demographics.
Answer phone calls in a polite and prompt manner.
Collects co-pays and outstanding balances.
Experience :
Highschool diploma or equivalent required
6 months of medical office experience required
Medical terminology knowledge
Adheres to HIPPA polices and procedures
Pay Details : $ per hour
