Obstetrics & Gynecology of Greater Flint is Hiring a Medical Receptionist Near Flint, MI

Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients as they arrive at the medical office
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member
- Schedule appointments for patients and manage the appointment calendar
- Verify patient insurance information and collect co-pays or payments
- Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and address any inquiries or concerns

Experience:
- Previous experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred
- Familiarity with phone systems and handling a high volume of calls
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
