Job Description
LHH is currently seeking a Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys with construction defect and defense litigation matters. This position is full time with option for hybrid remote work schedule, great team environment and COMPETITIVE pay and benefits.
Duties, including but not limited to:
• Client and Court communications Communicate with clients
• Trial preparation, including trial and deposition binders, exhibits, hot docs
• Ordering records (medical, billing, employment, etc.)
• Draft legal document and correspondence, including pleadings and discovery
• Legal Research
• Filing in State and Federal Courts (Pro-Doc/NextGen/PACER)
• Calendaring
• Billing
Qualifications:
• Paralegal Degree or Certificate
• 5 years of litigation support experience in law firms, construction defect, insurance defense, and/or mechanical liens experience preferred
• Highly organized with attention to detail
• Proficiency with Excel, Word and Outlook
• iManage and eDiscovery platform experience (preferred)
