Accounting Clerk

Our client, a food & beverage manufacturer in La Mirada, is looking to hire a Bilingual Spanish Accounting Clerk on a temporary to hire OR direct hire basis.

This position will support the accounting department with accounts payable and accounts receivable duties.

Pay range for this job is $$ per hour plus overtime!

Job Duties :

Maintain files for PO’s and vouchers.

On a monthly basis, check all AP invoices against the AP report.

Open new vendor files

Receive and handle calls from vendors on past due invoices.

Communicate with vendors on invoice discrepancies.

Review AR Aging to verify past due accounts.

Communicate with customers on all past due accounts.

Print and email our billing statements.

Assist AP / AR Supervisor settlement for all drivers.

Responsible for deposits.

Requirements :

• Must have experience with SAGE accounting software
• Must be Bilingual Spanish
• One year minimum of accounts payable and / or accounts receivable experience
• Excellent communication skills
