ROLE SUMMARY:

The Quality Inspector maintains quality standards by evaluating and approving incoming materials using various measurement tools, reading and verifying blueprints, auditing in-process production, finished products, and recording quality results.

2nd Shift is 2:30 - 11 PM with paid breaks, and an unpaid lunch break. 2nd Shift also receives Shift Premium compensation.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Receives in-process and final inspections on machined products, using precision measurement tools; e.g. comparators, micrometers, calipers, and gages.
• Conduct visual and measurement tests, identifying and segregating nonconforming parts, and update the nonconforming product report using Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
• Communicate required adjustments to supervisor and other personnel as required.
• Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions; reporting non calibrated equipment or no functional equipment to your supervisor.
• Accomplishes quality and organization objectives by completing assigned tasks efficiently and effectively.
• Work with team members in a way that results in a positive and conducive work environment for all.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, safety protocols, and instructions provided by management.
