LG seeks a driven State, Local, and Education (SLED) Senior Account Manager to spearhead Education sales in a specific territory, aiming for substantial revenue growth. Reporting to the Public Sector National Sales Manager, this role primarily focuses on K-12 end users and resellers, with some attention to state and local government business. The ideal candidate possesses diverse knowledge in K-12 market trends, relevant technologies, contract awareness, and relationships with resellers. Expertise in IT and Audio Visual infrastructure, especially non-interactive and interactive hardware/software used in learning spaces, is crucial. Collaboration with various LG teams and partners is essential to identify, develop, and close IT and AV opportunities in the K-12 market. This role demands an entrepreneurial mindset, high energy, exceptional time management, and the ability to strategize with minimal supervision in the fast-paced K-12 market, with an expected 75% business travel to optimize customer engagement.

Responsibilities:

• Expand LG's presence in K-12, state, and local government markets in an assigned territory.
• Understand client needs and align them with LG solutions.
• Develop focused business plans for K-12 end users, resellers, and contracts.
• Collaborate with sales teams to execute go-to-market strategies.
• Engage with partners to enhance sales success.
• Showcase LG products, particularly in AV and IT hardware and software, to educators.
• Manage regional marketing, pipeline, forecasts, and inventory levels.
• Represent LG at industry events.
• Maintain Salesforce database and handle administrative tasks.
• Provide competitive updates regularly.

Requirements:
• BA/BS or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of IT and AV sales experience, especially with education clients.
• Proficiency in AV technologies, state contracts, and RFP processes.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Proficiency in technical sales and presentation.
• Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Willingness to travel up to 75%.

Base Pay Range: $89,000-129,000 Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan.

This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
