LG Electronics is looking for a Fleet Operations Manager to join our Customer Service Team!

POSITION SUMMARY:

LG Electronics is seeking a highly talented Fleet Operations Manager to support our Direct Mobile Service Technicians (DMST). In this role, you will be responsible for achieving financial objectives across various administrative aspects, assisting upper management in developing comprehensive business plans and strategies, and optimizing approximately $10M in annual administrative expenses. Key responsibilities include optimal vehicle (fleet) management, enhancing operational efficiencies to reduce costs, and supervising/supporting all DMST administrative matters. Additionally, you will propose solutions for concurrent issues and recommend improvement activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To drive alignment in DMST administrative planning, ensure all administrative tasks are completed with a high level of accuracy in forecasting.
• Prepare and create regular reports of KPI and key initiatives for presentation.
• Seek out data and provide business and overall DMST admin insights for process improvement.
• Support in overseeing the entire value chain in vehicles / fleet management.
• Provide leadership support to the current DMST admin parts (approx. two reports) and other team members by developing strong relationships across the organization. Manage assigned DMST admin budgets and provide support in completing projects.
• Provide objective viewpoints with understanding of DMST admin. Information.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field (general affairs, supply chain, economics, and/or finance, accounting).
• Relevant work experience in financial planning or strategy management functions, especially in consumer electronic goods or the appliance industry (5 years preferred).
• Market research, negotiation skills for cost savings
• Proficiency in Microsoft Applications: advanced Excel skills, PowerPoint
• Data-visualization S/W (plus): Power BI, Tableau, or Google Locker Studio
• Strong capability to drive multiple projects simultaneously with many other stakeholders.
• Excellent data-analysis skills - knowledge of statistics and quantitative data interpretation.
• Problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and positive attitude.
• Interpersonal skills for dealing with sensitive issues, ambiguous situations, and change in direction.
• Experience in ERP system; SAP Business Objects Web Intelligence
• Bilingual English and Korean (preferred)
