A large hospital in Tacoma is looking to hire Food Service workers to support their fast-paced retail cafeteria.
Overview of Responsibilities:
- Performs a wide variety of food service duties including providing excellent customer service, cashiering, patient meal assembly, menu item prep, and serving of all foods for all areas
- The Food Service worker will assist with dishwashing and cleanliness of the kitchen and food service areas
- Interacts with team members as well as patients, hospital providers, nurses, families, and visitors
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Food service experience preferred
- Current State of Washington Food Handlers card (or obtain within 7 days of hire)
- Detail oriented
- Punctual
- Customer service
Multiple shifts available
Pay:
$18-20 per hour depending on experience
Contract Length:
520 hours. Opportunity to convert to permanent hire after satisfactory completion of contract.
