Lexicon is Hiring a Division Controller Near Little Rock, AR

Our services include construction management, fabrication, erection, mechanical installation, and plant maintenance for heavy industrial, commercial, and roadway projects, as well as a full spectrum of golf course construction and management services.

Position Summary

The Division Controller directs the financial activities of one of the company subsidiaries.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Direct the accounting functions and systems for the division including accounts payables, accounts receivable, payroll, and equipment control.
  • Prepare, maintain and analyze accurate financial reporting.
  • Continued development of tools to ensure accuracy of bid process and project management.
  • Analyze various business activities including project evaluation and potential projects.
  • Perform special projects for upper management.
  • The ability to work overtime and regular, punctual attendance is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor s degree in Accounting is required. Minimum of five years experience in managerial Accounting/Auditing. Previous supervisory experience is required. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Access. Excellent oral/written communications skills. Must be able to make independent judgments and decisions

Physical Demands

High pressure working environment. Must be able to sit and work directly on computer for extended periods of time. Long hours and weekend work as needed. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. All of the physical demands listed are essential functions.
