ARPA-H is a groundbreaking initiative dedicated to catalyzing breakthrough innovations in health and biotechnology. We are looking for a passionate briefing coordinator that is excited to join our team in this trailblazing opportunity to support high-risk, high-reward research projects that have the potential to revolutionize our understanding and treatment of diseases. The candidate should have experience preparing briefings and other documents related to biomedical, scientific research, or healthcare. 

Within ARPA-H the briefing coordinator will:

• Prepare briefings and other documents to include strategic messaging in support of an ARPA-H Program Manager.
• Apply your strong writing ability and oral presentation skills to translate scientific and technical knowledge and concepts into succinct visual deliverables that can be communicated and understood by a diverse group of stakeholders.
• Analyze, interpret, and translate ideas and issues into easily understood, clear and concise statements.
• Conduct independent research, analyze data, and write reports as required.
• Collaborate effectively with scientists, engineers, and other specialists from diverse backgrounds to elicit content for presentations and other reports.
• Act as a functional expert on presentations, briefings, and strategic messaging in support of the ARPA-H Program Manager and other support personnel.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

• Possess at least 6 years of experience preparing briefings and other documents related to biomedical, scientific research, or healthcare. 
  • Includes support for strategic messaging development.
• Experience translating scientific communications and technical knowledge into succinct visual deliverables. 
• Experience developing presentations in support of healthcare-related research and development organizations and senior management.
• Must be able to obtain Public Trust Clearance.
• US work authorization (we participate in E-Verify).

Preferred qualifications:

• Background in the public health sector is highly preferred.
• Working knowledge of healthcare related policies and procedures is highly desirable.
• One year or more experience working in an ARPA-H environment or similar leading-edge R&D environment is highly desirable.
