Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Scribe to join our team. As a Medical Scribe, you will work closely with our healthcare provider to accurately document patient encounters and assist in medical record management. Responsibilities:
- Accompany our healthcare provider during patient visits and accurately document medical histories, physical examinations, and treatment plans
- Transcribe and enter medical information into electronic health records (EHR) systems in real-time
- Ensure the completeness and accuracy of medical documentation, including diagnoses, procedures, and medications
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure proper coding and billing of services
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and managing medical records

Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and systems
- Previous experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient typing skills with a high level of accuracy
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems is a plus
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with healthcare providers
