Leven Bakery & Cafe in Houston, TX is looking for baristas to join us on our mission. We are located on 4191 Bellaire Blvd #125.

This is not your typical restaurant…we actually source, prepare and serve real here.

Schedule:

Responsibilities & Essential Functions:

*Show up ready - for yourself, teammates and our customers *Be a positive player and have a great attitude *Sales: effective communication, product expertise, problem solving *Educates customers by presenting and explaining the coffee drink menu; answering questions. *Generates revenues by attracting new customers; defining new and expanded services and products. *Ensures a clean, safe, and productive workspace for customers and co-workers *Occasionally access high storage shelving with the use of step ladder *Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. *Must be 18 or older

Barista Qualifications / Skills:

*Listening *Verbal communication *Customer focus *Customer service *Basic safety *People skills *Action oriented *Organization *Selling to customer needs *Attendance *Client relationships

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

*High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred *Prior café, coffee shop or restaurant experience a plus *Familiarity with telephone, office, and point-of-sale software (like Toast)

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $9.00 - $12.00/hour.
