LEVEL is Hiring an Engineering Lead, Application Experiences Near New York, NY

What You'll Do:

  • Lead the team that is responsible for building sophisticated mobile and web applications
  • Lead the team on executing OKRs and long term strategic plans
  • Collaborate closely with product and design to ship flawless front-end experiences
  • Mentor engineers on their technical skills and professional development
  • Provide technical feedback on engineering architecture decisions for new large scale features and when necessary be excited to dive into the code yourself
  • Ensure code quality is high and code reviews in the team are effective
  • Improve engineering standards, tooling and processes
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment

Who You Are:

  • 6 years of hands-on front-end engineering experience
  • 2 years of engineering management experience
  • Experience with React or React Native development
  • Enjoy helping other engineers develop their engineering and leadership skills
  • Experience working with product and business stakeholders on large projects
  • Owned the technical roadmap for large business areas
  • A passion for working in high performing teams and building great products to help members make better decisions around their benefits spending

This position has a minimum base salary of $170,000 and a midpoint base salary of $185,000. The base pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards.
