Responsibilities

Marketing Coordinator Summary:

  • This position provides marketing support to the Marketing Department through a variety of related responsibilities. The position requires an ability to be multi-task oriented, self-sufficient, dependable, ability to cope under pressure, maintain good judgment, eager to learn and a professional, supportive attitude.

Marketing Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Support day-to-day marketing and model merchandising/maintenance activities through collection and dissemination of information to individual communities. Interaction with sales associates and model vendors to maintain model complex presence.
  • Interface with other departments, trade partners/vendors, designers, and advertisers to facilitate meeting deadlines.
  • Provide collateral material for phase releases: sales maps, topo homes, homesite signs, brochure reprints, and special event planning as applies. 
  • Maintain Schedule of Properties and Sales Map Book.
  • Coordinate weekly advertising insertion for internal distribution if applicable.
  • Coordinate and attend special events, grand openings, etc. (including evening and weekend functions).
  • Coordinate homeowner move-in gifts appropriate to each community.
  • Coordinate day to day Digital Marketing Activities
  • Assist in the opening and closing of Welcome Home Center including the disposition of model furniture and items.
  • Responsible for model maintenance contracts, purchase orders, and setting up new vendors.
  • Create and maintain potential buyer database and distribute to communities.
  • Assist in maintaining community signage and signage book.
  • Assist in maintaining website.
  • Maintain marketing invoices, including code and research in a timely manner.
  • Process check requests.
  • Ensure trade partners/vendors comply with insurance requirements.
  • Perform administrative support: spreadsheets, word processing, faxing, copying, answering phones, and handling incoming and outgoing correspondence as requested.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Education & Additional Qualifications:

  • Two (2) - three (3) years related work experience
  • High school diploma or GED required; college preferred
  • Experience in Digital Marketing preferred
  • Strong PC skills (Microsoft Word, Excel)
  • Accurate typing – 65 to 70 wpm
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining a professional attitude
  • Strong work ethic, good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Valid Motor Vehicle License – unrestricted
  • Maintain regular attendance and punctuality relative to daily work schedule is required
  • Follow directions from a supervisor
  • Interact well with co-workers
  • Understand and follow posted work rules and procedures
  • Accept constructive criticism

Physical Requirements:

  • Position requires attendance at meeting outside division office and trips to models/communities. Position requires ability to occasionally bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and carry office materials and supplies weighing 25 pounds or less. Finger dexterity is required to operate a computer keyboard and calculator. Coordinator will be required to operate a motor vehicle.
