What's the Role?
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our accounting team as an Accounts Payable Supervisor. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts payable processes, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to lead effectively. As an Accounts Payable Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the accounts payable department, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, and maintaining strong vendor relationships.
What you'll do!
•Manage the full cycle of accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, approvals, and payments.
•Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial transactions and compliance with company policies.
•Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
•Generate reports and provide insights to management on accounts payable performance.
•Maintain quarterly audit documentation and perform audit control testing.
•Help identify process changes and opportunities for continuous improvements.
What we need from you.
•Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field recommended.
•4 years' experience in accounts payable roles, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or management position.
•Strong knowledge of accounting principles and accounts payable processes.
•Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to interface with multiple departments and vendors.
•Willingness to become an expert in our products and the science.
•Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
•Strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and proven record of measuring and analyzing results.
•Utilize good judgement with the ability to learn on the fly, can be nimble and able to work independently.
•Preferred: familiarity with NetSuite ERP system and/or Navan expense management platform
This is a flex hybrid role in our beautiful Tustin, CA office. We are dog friendly!
The salary range for this position is $70 - $90k DOE. We offer health benefits, a matching 401(k), paid holidays, flexible time off (FTO) and more.
