Overview

The Accounts Receivable Specialist III is responsible for working closely with the Sales Department to monitor and maintain AR records and accounts.

Essential Functions

• Handles high volume phone calls incoming and outgoing to assigned dealers
• Contacts dealers in individual collector portfolio, regarding past due balances, throughout the week
• Reconciles dealer disputes as they pertain to payment of outstanding balances that are due
• Provides customer service to dealers and sales representatives regarding collection issues, process customer refunds, process and review account adjustments, resolve client discrepancies and short payments
• Participates in team planning meetings
• Communicates and follows up with Dealer Services regarding customer accounts on a timely basis
• Evaluates customer records and recommends payment plans based credit reporting, payment history and purchase activity
• Maintains strict confidentiality
• Performs other duties and/or tasks as assigned

Non-Essential Functions

• Completes account reconciliations on select dealers
• Assists in applying daily cash if necessary

Required Qualifications and Education

• 5 years’ B2B collections experience preferred
• Knowledge of billing and collections procedures/laws
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong negotiation skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
