Abts Equipment LLC currently has an opportunity for an experienced Service Technician to join the team.

General Overview:

Our service technicians work on different brands of milking equipment, mostly Bou-Matic, Lely, and Calf Star, to help keep the farm up and running.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, service and/or repair dairy equipment effectively and efficiently.

• Ability to service all brands of dairy equipment.

• Train customers on proper equipment usage

• Take Turns being On-Call after hours.

• Fill out Necessary Paperwork and Invoicing after work is performed.

• Discuss Work Performed with Customer

• Be Able to Trouble Shoot Electrical Circuits

• Training is Offered to Qualified Individuals

• Must have a clean driving record and pass a drug test

• Must maintain company service vehicle, parts and tools

Experience/Background:

• Minimum high school degree

• Basic mathematics

• Strong organizational skills

• Strong written and oral communication skills

• Previous experience is a preferred.

• Ability to travel locally.

• Must have a valid driver license

• Ability to lift 70 lbs.

• Ability to be a self starter but still work as part of a team

Pay Scale: Starting at $25-$28 per hour
