Leidos is seeking a Network Administrator for a position as part of a team supporting AFLCMC/HNCD CS&D in San Antonio, TX. This is an onsite position.
Responsible for the onsite network administration for the CS&D IT Optimization Program.
Primary Responsibilities
Provides support in all aspects of network management from network design through implementation and the maintenance of upgrading existing networks.
Analyzes, designs, specifies, documents, and implements communication system requirements to support the customers network infrastructure.
Maintains a broad knowledge of network communications and local area network/wide area network (LAN/WAN) operations and has a demonstrated ability to independently work on complex assignments.
Engage with the customer to resolve issues with sometimes incomplete requirements.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
Must be US Citizen
Current DoD Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI
DoD 8570 IAT Level II approved certification (CompTIA Security )
5 years of proven experience as a Network Administrator
Experience with DoD networks and enclaves
VMware vCenter and VMware ESXi experience
Knowledge of implementing, administering, performing testing, and analyzing network systems.
Experience with network services (BGP, OSPF, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, WAN, VPN, VLAN, VRF, etc.) and network appliances (e.g., routers, load balancers, domain name servers, firewalls).
Knowledge of system security (e.g., intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery
Familiarity with ticket systems such as Jira or ServiceNow
Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
Excellent communication skills
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with following DoD standards, interpreting network drawings, cyber security experience, and interpreting operational procedures.
Top Secret Clearance
Knowledge of Cloud capabilities such as AWS or MS Azure
Network engineering, program management, and performance management experience.
Cisco CCNA or CCNP Enterprise
