Description

Leidos National Security Sector's Engineering, Integration and Operations (EIO) Division is looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to oversee multiple projects across the division. The projects may include, but are not limited to IT systems engineering, operations support, software engineering and development, cloud infrastructure, risk and compliance management, data science and analysis and collaboration, communications, and content management systems.

Role is expected to be virtual with approximately 25% travel to Headquarters in Reston, VA.

Primary Responsibilities
The Technical Project Manager shall perform the following tasks:
*Supporting creation and update Differentiated Go to Market (DGM) Plans and product cost models.
*Oversee the planning, execution and delivery of technical projects, including defining project scope, objectives, timelines and resource allocation.
*Create project plans, setting milestones, and manage project schedules.
*Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, assigning tasks, and ensuring alignment with project goals.
*Facilitating communication among team members, stakeholders and management team. Participate in, or facilitate, technical meetings, conference calls and workgroups with Program staff and stakeholders. Provide meeting facilitation services and create meeting agendas, meeting minutes for face-to-face and online meetings.
*Provide the necessary, centralized administration, documentation and other related functions, requirements gathering and development tasks.
*Identify potential risks, developing mitigating strategies, and proactively address issues that may impact project delivery.
*Manage project budgets, track expenses, and optimize resource utilization to ensure efficient project delivery.
*Monitor project deliverables to ensure they meet quality standards and comply with specifications outlined in the project plan.
*Facilitate communication between technical teams, stakeholders and customer for providing regular updates on project progress and address concerns.
*Prepare and deliver various reports including technical reports (e.g., bug reporting), and program management such as schedule, budget, resources allocation, project status, quality management.

Basic Qualifications
*Bachelor's degree in business management, or related field plus 12 years or more of related technical experience; minimum five (5) years of successful project manager experience.
*PMP Certification and Scrum Master certification
*Experience in working and/or supporting one or more technical areas such as software engineering and/or development, systems engineering, cybersecurity, data science, database management or other similar type of projects.
*Experience overseeing the planning, execution and delivery of technical projects, including defining project scope, objectives, requirements, timelines and resource allocation.
*Experience creating project plans, setting milestones, and managing project schedules.
*Experience leading and coordinating cross-functional teams, assigning tasks, and ensuring alignment with project goals.
*Proficiency in project and technical management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) and tools (Jira, Confluence, MS Project, etc.)
*Experience in risk management, budgeting, and resource allocation.
*Experience implementing data, security, system governance policies.
*Strong understanding of technical concepts to effectively communicate with development teams and understand project requirements.
*Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage conflicts, and drive project success within deadlines.
*Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications
*Experience with working Army, Navy and Air Force Customers highly desired
*Experience with agile AWS cloud projects.
