Leidos is Hiring a Remote Business Intelligence Intern
Description
The Defense Group at Leidos has an opening for a Business Intelligence Intern for the Service Management, Integration, and Transport (SMIT) contract. This is an exciting opportunity to gain experience in building, managing, and customizing business intelligence (BI) tools, apps, and dashboards to support a U.S. Navy program.
This role is hybrid (remote and office), and candidates must be within commuting distance to Leidos facilities in either Reston, VA or San Diego, CA.
Primary Responsibilities
- Design and implement solutions to meet specific needs of the program stakeholders, including (but not limited to) workflows, databases, and data visualizations using Power BI and other Microsoft Power Platform tools.
- Perform hands-on Power BI development tasks and implementations.
- Make updates to existing Power BI dashboards and Power Platform apps based on stakeholder requests.
- Support system integrations between various applications, such as Power BI, SharePoint, and Salesforce.
- Provide development support, from design through testing and deployment.
Basic Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program at the Junior/Senior level in a related field of study with graduation planned in late 2024 - 2026
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Power Platform tools (Power BI, PowerApps, Power Automate, etc.), Excel, EVMS tools, databases, Oracle Analytics Cloud, and PowerQuery.
- Ability to research solutions, solve problems, and instruct users on best practices for supported tools.
- Effective communicator and organizer.
- Ability to work as part of a team working remotely.
- Ability to obtain a secret clearance.
- US citizenship required
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Power Platform Developer certification.
- Coursework in software development.
- Prior experience in the government contracting space.
Pay Range:
Pay Range $44,850.00 - $81,075.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
