Lehigh Human Support Services LLC is Hiring a Residential Program Manager Near Allentown, PA

We are currently seeking a passionate and empathetic individual to join our team as the Residential Program Manager at Lehigh Human Support Services. In this pivotal leadership role, you will provide unwavering support to both the individuals under our care and our dedicated staff, helping them achieve their desired quality of life, accomplish daily tasks, and improve their overall well-being.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate and ensure the implementation of personalized support plans for individuals receiving services.
  • Oversee and provide guidance to Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in delivering prescribed support and supervision.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive environment that promotes the overall health and safety of all residents.
  • Collaborate with other team members and departments to enhance the overall quality of care and services provided.
  • Monitor and assess the effectiveness of support plans, making necessary adjustments to meet individual needs.
  • Maintain open communication with individuals, their families, and support teams to address concerns and promote a person-centered approach.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably in a human service setting.
  • Knowledge of and experience in implementing individualized support plans.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team of professionals.
  • Commitment to upholding the highest standards of care and ethical conduct.

To excel in this role, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Valid Driver's License: *Must possess a active driver's license as the employee will be responsible for transporting individuals to medical appointments, community outings, and other destinations using company vehicles
  • Age Requirement: You should be at least 18 years of age.
  • Computer Proficiency: Basic computer skills are necessary, including the ability to use internal software programs.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication, both written and verbal, is essential for this position.
  • Pre-Employment Process: Successful completion of the pre-employment process, which includes a motor vehicle record check and State criminal background or FBI background checks.
  • Educational Qualification: While not mandatory, a high school diploma or its equivalent is preferred.
  • Pre-Employment Examination: Candidates will be required to undergo a pre-employment physical examination and tuberculosis test.
