Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Contacts and closes new customers by telephone, email and other means.
  • Continuously meets sales and prospecting goals as assigned.
  • Follows up on customer contacts regularly by phone, email and other means.
  • Assists the Chief Revenue Officer in placing new accounts with the operations team.
  • Starts customer relationships and then ensures an effective and complete transition of accounts to the operations team.
  • Maintains correct customer/prospect information in the CRM system.
  • Helps further develop sales training, assisting with development of scripts and sales communications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • At least 3-5 years’ experience in the Logistics/Transportation industry.
  • Not currently in a non-compete agreement with another similar company.
  • A proven track record in sales and growth of new customer accounts.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday - Friday / Salery Non-Exempt

New business development team members are compensated as follows:

  • Commissions will be paid bi-weekly based on the previous two weeks’ production.
  • Salary must be satisfied bi-weekly before commissions are paid out.
  • Once each bi-weekly portion of salary is paid in full, the Account Executive earns commission at the following rate on all new business they cultivate.

Requirements

At least 3-5 years’ experience in the Logistics/Transportation industry.

Not currently in a non-compete agreement with another similar company.

A proven track record in sales and growth of new customer accounts.

High school diploma or equivalent.
