The Role
The Payroll Clerk will assist with day-to-day payroll operations and the accurate and timely processing for our weekly payroll.These functions will include, but are not limited to, establishing and maintaining payroll systems (Toast/7 Shifts), practices and procedures, overseeing the preparation and evaluation of weekly and monthly labor reports.

The Rock at La Cantera is a multi-phase legacy project that will extend across 45 acres and features the new state of the art Spurs training facility, Frost Plaza, an outdoor event space, and Roca & Martillo Restaurant.
Responsibilities

• Collects and validates time-keeping records for non-exempt employees.
• Prepares venue payroll in a timely and accurate manner, recording and processing of hours of work, maintaining payroll controls, and supports Human Resources department.
• Completes data processing in HRIS and updates time & attendance systems.
• Responsible for accuracy of payroll for several departments.
• Ensures all payroll forms are distributed, received, recorded, and filed as appropriate.
• Completes personnel action forms for employee data changes, to include new hires and terminations.

Qualifications
•Must have solid understanding of payroll processes and procedures.
•Must have proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
•General knowledge of basic accounting practices.
•Excellent Customer Service and communication skills.
•Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
•Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
•Impeccable attention to detail.
•Experience with UltiPro and ABI Systems, Toast and 7-Shifts preferred.
