Legends Health Care is Hiring a Housekeeping Supervisor Near Fowler, OH
JOB DUTIES
1. Help oversee the day to day operations of the Housekeeping and Laundry Departments
2. Assist HR with Interviewing, hiring, scheduling, and training of new staff for department.
3. Ensure the cleanliness of the facility.
4. Respond to less than satisfactory comments regarding housekeeping or laundry related issues.
5. Assist staff with regular daily walk through inspections of all assigned areas; make note of discrepancies and follow-up for completion.
6. Assist with special projects.
7. Cover shifts during call ins or staff shortages.
8. Assist housekeeping or Laundry aides as necessary.
9. Assist with the ordering of supplies and Linen when necessary
10. Assist nursing with room moves or packing of resident belongings
11. Assists with the conduction of monthly staff meetings and in-services
12. Other duties as assigned by HR, or Director of Nursing.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Must be able to stand for extended period of time walking around the facility
2. Must be able to sit for periods of time completing paperwork
3. Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, push, pull, climb, lift and carryobjects
Qualifications
- Minimum 18 yrs. age required, HS diploma or equivalent preferred.
- ·Position related experience preferred but not required.
- ·Interest in housekeeping skills and procedures necessary.
- ·Ability to perform assigned tasks to a high degree of excellence, and cleanliness required
- Respect for residents' privacy and rights for respect and dignity necessary.
