THE ROLE

As a Sr Associate of Global Sales, you will be responsible for managing the new business process, including development of deliverables such as pitches, proposals, and responses to RFPs for the Global Sales team, reporting to a VP of Global Sales.

We’re looking for someone with high emotional intelligence, who understands how to work collaboratively with stakeholders across teams, seniority levels, and functions to produce high quality deliverables that help win business. You’ll need to be deadline-driven, organized, obsessed with details, and an exceptionally strong communicator/writer.

The right candidate enjoys the challenge of managing expectations, personalities, and multiple priorities, while enforcing internal deadlines and keeping projects on time. As a strategic leader of new business, you’ll also need to exude accountability—from yourself and the team—and deliver top tier work that represents and advances the Legends brand at every opportunity.

This role is remote, with some travel required. We’re looking for a proactive self-starter with top notch interpersonal and communication skills.

ESSENTIAL FUNCATIONS

  • Oversee the submission of highly professional business development deliverables that reflect positively on the Legends brand and help the company win business.
  • Develop, update, and regularly communicate project timelines to ensure visibility and accountability across contributors and stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with Global Sales team to develop a response strategy, outline, and content for new business deliverables.
  • Schedule and lead meetings with key stakeholders—including external vendors and internal team members across business divisions—to facilitate on-time content development and deliverable submissions.
  • Aggregate feedback and work with internal creative team to implement changes efficiently.
  • Oversee the quality control process to ensure submissions meet a high standard.
  • Build trust and positive, productive working relationships with team members across Legends as well as with external partners/vendors.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to recommend and implement process improvements that improve workflow, efficiency, quality of output, and brand consistency.
  • Vet RFPs and briefs to identify opportunities, understand requirements, and develop strategies for completing proposals.
  • Manage and prioritize the creative queue for new business deliverables.
  • Serve as gatekeeper and request manager of the creative team to improve efficiency and reduce churn.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience as a project, product, or new business/business development manager in fast-paced environment.
  • Expertise with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), and email marketing platforms
  • Able to simultaneously manage a high level of detail across multiple projects and meet deadlines without compromising quality.

  • Comfort with project management software such as Asana, Basecamp, Hive, Trello, or similar.
  • Able to work flexible hours including some nights, weekends, and holidays.

COMPENSATION

$60,000 - $65,000 plus bonus opportunities and a generous benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and 401k plan.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Location: Corporate East - New York, NY (Open to candidates in other location)
