Job Description:

The Warehouse Receiver will work side by side with the Purchasing Department and supporting all the stocking, shipping, and receiving functions for the casino.

Job Requirements:

• Perform a variety of receiving functions, which support all departments within Legends Bay Casino. 
• Filling requests for items from the different departments to be transferred to various areas such as coolers and or other storage areas.
• Work in extreme weather conditions, hot and cold.
• Assist with inventory functions.
• Maintain composure in a potentially stressful environment.
• Deliver UPS/FedEx to appropriate departments in a timely manner
• Check in all deliveries accurately and in a timely manner.
• Making sure all paperwork is signed and filled out, checking for shortages.
• Notifying purchasing office of any shorts or errors immediately.
• Help maintain a clean and organized warehouse, freezers, and walk-ins.
• Produce and generate stock orders.
• Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous experience working in a shipping, receiving and/or purchasing role is preferred.

Additional Requirements: 

• Must be 21 years of age or older .
• Be able to work with frequent hand truck and pallet jack movement of products.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. continuously.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in the English language.
• Knowledge of operating functions of a forklift and other receiving equipment is a plus.
• Any operation of a motorized company vehicle(s) or equipment will require a DMV printout and will be requested at the time of submission of application for company insurance purposes.
• Demonstrate attention to detail. 
• Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
• Ability to work independently, taking initiative to complete tasks before assigned.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, with variable overtime.
• Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.
