The Host/Take Out Associate is responsible for greeting and seating guests in a friendly personalized manner upon arrival into the restaurant. This person must maintain attentive and courteous communication with guests and answer the phone and all questions in a polite manner. This position handles take out for our guests; ensures all take-out guidelines, specifications, quality, and service standards are met. The Host presence at the front desk is required at all times to extend an appropriate welcome, farewell, and a sincere invitation for our guests' return.
Legal Sea Foods began in 1950 as a fish market in the Inman Square neighborhood of Cambridge, Massachusetts. Its here that the Legal name became synonymous with quality and freshness. In 1968, our first seafood restaurant opened, right next to the fish market. The fish was simply prepared, either broiled or fried, and served on paper plates at communal picnic tables. Despite the low-key trappings, the food was second to none and word quickly spread.
