- They are currently looking to hire a second Accounts Payable Specialist to work in their office in Towson, MD.
- Perks include : Free parking in Towson, free gym access, and deli in the building
- This position is 100% in office in Towson MD. Schedule: 8:30am-5pm M-F with some flexibility
- Reports to the AP Manager
Job Responsibilities:
- Process vendor set up, w-9, and sales tax exemption requests
- Process vendor PO's and non PO invoices for payment
- Match invoices with POs and ensure proper supporting documentation
- Process special checks
- Perform reconciliations and month end close process for AP
- Reconcile and process 1099's
- Maintain and file AP records and research issues
- Perform system audits to ensure proper and accurate payments
- Respond to inquires regarding payments from auditors and vendors
Qualifications for the Accounts Payable Specialist:
- 3 years of accounts payable experience required
- Associates degree in related field or equivalent yeas of experience
- Experience within the healthcare industry and knowledge of medical terminology a plus
- Proficient Excel skills
