Legacy is Hiring a Property Manager Near Mackinaw, MI

Do you lead by example, build relationships, and earn the trust and respect of others? Legacy is seeking a full-time Property Manager for a 70-unit Retirement Community in Mackinaw City, Michigan which offers Assisted and Independent living. This position is responsible for the overall leadership and administration including hiring, managing and training a high-quality team, communication, family services, resident well-being, quality assurance, financial management and regulatory compliance. As the Public Relations leader for Residents, Families, and Visitors you must have compassion and patience with the one goal of creating an experience second to none!

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing a team
  • Effective Leadership and Team Building skills 
  • Strong Marketing background preferred
  • Broad understanding of federal and state laws related to the operation of a Senior Living Community
  • Knowledge of and special sensitivity to the needs of aging adults and their families
  • Exceptional customer service skills with the capacity to relate to a variety of people/personalities 
  • Highly organized self-starter with attention to details and the ability to take on initiatives within a fast-paced environment
  • Outgoing and personable - excellent interpersonal communication 
  • Management of receivables, payables, and budgeting for the community
  • Proficiency in MS Office products and 
  • Yardi experience preferred
  • Real Estate License required within 6 months of employment
  • Must be able to work extended and varied hours 
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
