About the role:

The ideal AC Tech/Installer will service and install air conditioning systems like split systems, package units, water cool units, "pancake" units, single stage units, two-stage units, inverter units, ductless mini splits, air handlers, condenser units, evaporator coils and other bigger parts, as well as sometimes providing estimates and quotes for service work, maintenances, and warranties and more.

Responsibilities:

• Complete heating/cooling and other related in-home, service calls
• Maintain communication with dispatch, your manager, parts, and installation teams.
• Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
• Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems, and performing warranty services.
• Performing & identifying emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
• Providing technical direction and on-the-job training.
• Maintain a clean, organized job site and well inventoried truck & appearance.

• 3-5 years of HVAC Service Technician experience required
• OR Experience with commercial HVAC with willingness to learn service
• EPA and NATE certs
• Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating
• Working knowledge of Carrier, Trane and Lennox systems
• Proficiency in 2 stage communicating systems and variable speed systems
• Proficient in reading schematics and work plans.
• Physical ability to lift and carry heavy equipment, tools, and materials.
• Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Must have a clean & safe driving record
