Legacy Hospitality Management is Hiring an Assistant General Manager Near Mount Pleasant, WI

TheStaybridge Suites – Racine Mount Pleasant has an exciting opportunityfor an experienced Assistant General Manager for a brand-new property!

The88 suite extended stay property is located at 7430 Washington Ave. in beautifulMount Pleasant, WI. Opening soon, the hotel will be the premier extended stayproperty in the market.

TheAssistant General manager is responsible for all aspects of operations at thehotel and provides support to the General Manager.

Directsand coordinates hotels activities to obtain optimum efficiency and economy ofoperations, and maximize full potential with a balanced focus on hotelsmission, guests, employees and owners satisfaction.

ASSISTANTGENERAL MANAGER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist the General Manager in his day to day operations.
  • Assigns duties to and performance to ensure adherence to hotel policies and established operating procedures.
  • Provides training to staff including Front Desk and Housekeeping.
  • Monitor the guest feedback on Trip Advisor, OTA's etc. and hotel GSS scores.
  • Receives and resolved or assists the General manager in resolving guest complaints and service recovery process.
  • Interviews new hotel staff and completes all new hire paper works.
  • Review employee performance and conducts personnel actions such as disciplinary actions and terminations.
  • Adheres to all franchise and company procedures and regulations as well as standard operating procedures.
  • Ensures the objectives and goals of Marriott and property owners work together to achieve brand positioning and success.
  • Performs daily, weekly and monthly property inspections.
  • Ensures property, grounds, physical plant and work areas maintained to standard.
  • All Other duties as assigned by the General Manager or Management.

PREREQUISITES:

Strongmanagement skills, ability to appropriately assign or delegate work andauthority to others in the accomplishment of goals. And provide coaching,advice and assistance as required.

2Years minimum - Hotel Experience

Availableto work when needed, including weekends, holidays, and nights.

EDUCATION:

Auniversity degree or diploma in hotel management or a related field preferred,but not required.
