As a coordinator of support services, you will help to maintain this high level of service through your outstanding interpersonal and problem-solving skills and your ability to organize a variety of department activities. Under the direction of the department manager, the Coordinator Support Services is responsible for various aspects of the department to include Room Scheduling and Catering. The Coordinator acts as the Computrition and Epic super user by providing daily support to the diet office, supervisors and nursing units as necessary. Maintains patient menus and makes adjustments as needed. The Coordinator is in charge of all staff and supervisor schedules and departmental payroll reporting activities (L-Time). The Coordinator regularly handles special projects and assignments as needed (e.g., gathers quality control data and develops quarterly reports, assists with menu planning for patients and cafeteria, etc.).
The Coordinator also provides complex and diversified clerical and office support requiring advanced administrative skills and knowledge. Duties include calendaring, scheduling department meetings and in-services, audiovisual equipment training, setup/ take down and maintenance, creating/maintaining employee files, department records and training manual as well as calculating, preparing and submitting reports and updating/publishing department policies and procedures.
