Legacy Health Services is Hiring a Purchasing Manager Near Parma, OH
- Leading tactical and strategic purchasing activities
- Oversees the acquisition, contracts, and management of all vendors for the company.
- Negotiate and evaluate with current and new vendors to improve cost, processes, terms, and quality
- Developing and implementing strategies to direct vendors to achieve cost reduction targets
- Establish departments goals, KPIs and lead team to meet these targets
- Evaluating and ensuring suppliers are achieve quality standards and requirements
- Partnering with all levels of manufacturing to ensure supply chain expectations are being achieved
- Develop and present reports to executive management team
- Analyze market and delivery systems to assess present and future supply availability
- 4 years proven experience in a similar role required
- Bachelors Degree preferred
- Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Software proficiency in DSSI or equivalent procurement platform
