Legacy Caregivers is Hiring a Residential Manager Near Canton, OH

Residential Manager | $18.00/hr-$21.00/hr | Health Benefits | PTO | Quarterly Bonus

Established and well-respected Homemaker/Personal Care DD agency in Stark County seeking management staff to run small scale residential operations across various congregate living sites in Stark and Summit County. .

Our agency serves dozens of individuals with Developmental Disabilities whose needs range from behavioral to high functioning, to total care. We want to ensure that our clients receive the best possible care in the industry, and for that reason we are looking to develop a strong foundational leadership base, who’s job it is to nurture and motivate pods of 5-10 direct support staff.

Please only apply if you have at least 1 year of verifiable experience as a residential manager at a DD Agency or related health services industry. Associates or Bachelors degree, or 1 year of management experience in an unrelated field is acceptable in lieu of this experience

Common Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manages 1-4 client sites and their attached client and staff base
  • Facilitates meet and greets between new staff and clients
  • Conducts individual specific trainings
  • Holds weekly meetings with staff base
  • Conducts daily documentation audits of HPC documentation, outcomes, UI's, and MARS
  • Covers shifts when needed
  • Secures adequate coverage in the event of employee absences
  • Communicates with Program Coordinator to provide care progress updates
  • Observes and provides continual training as needed to direct support professionals
  • Monitor and purchase household supplies as needed
  • Participates in community integration and community outings
  • Assures all medication is available in the home and all scheduled medication administration is completed
  • Performs varied duties as necessary to enhance the lives of the clients in the home

Compensation

This is a salary position that requires a split of floor hours and administrative hours to be performed weekly. High end wage of $21/hr reserved for clients with high levels of care. We also offer health benefits as well as a 1 week paid vacation annually
