Legacy Care Home is a small family-owned business looking for awesome caregivers to provide care in a residential style assisted living.
We are looking for professionals with an ability to take initiative and make quick decisions as well as a commitment to customer satisfaction. The ideal candidates will also possess knowledge and experience working with senior citizens and have a strong understanding of medical issues.
*Caregiver duties included providing residents assistance with their personal cares, household tasks, activities, meal preparation and a variety of other duties dependent on each client’s individual needs. PCA or CNA certification preferred but not required. Caregiving experience preferred but not required, we will train as necessary. Experience with mental health care a plus. Must be able to read and write English, you will be required to pass a background check and have a Tuberculosis test performed. Must be 18 years of age. Pay: $18 and up based on experience COVID-19 considerations: We follow MDH and CDC requirements Special needs experience: * Physical * Developmental * Behavioral/Emotional * Sensory Impaired Duties: * Reading, writing, and carrying out directions * Charting or taking notes for others to review * Providing companionship and supportive listening * Reporting changes in the health or status of the client * Taking vitals, height, and weight * Feeding clients * Maintaining patient’s health equipment * Responding to emergency situations * Administering medication*
