We are seeking a Team Lead Peer Specialist to work in our Peer Services Department. This position provides oversight of the peer program under the supervision of a licensed director. Oversees the daily operations, including supervision of staff, authorizations and treatment planning. Provides peer support services; serves as a consumer advocate; provides consumer information and peer support to consumers in emergency, outpatient, or inpatient settings. Performs a wide range of tasks to assist consumers in regaining control over their own lives and over their recovery process. Functions as a role model of competency in recovery and ongoing coping skills. Benefits:Health Insurance- We offer top-quality and affordable State of Georgia insurance benefits to all full-time employees. Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner (CPRP) or actively working toward certification.Associates degree in a social services related filed from an accredited college or university.
