We are seeking Residential Care Specialist (RCS) Lead to work in our Residential program in Tifton, Georgia. Under the supervision of the Residential Site Manager and fully Licensed Therapist Residential Care Specialist (RCS) I provides services to individuals with Mental Health (MH), Substance Use Disorders (SUD), or Dual Diagnosis in a community based Residential Program RCS I provides skills training and education on daily living skills such as budgeting, performing household chores, personal hygiene, meal preparation , social skills and integration and linkage to other available community services/resources. Lead Residential Care Specialist (RCS) ensures that all required duties for the shift have been completed by all employees before end of the shift. Lead RCS also serves and a single point contact for staff and persons served. Lead RCS takes action to make corrections when needed and communicates daily with the Site Manager. Part of the job duties involves assisting individuals served with transportation and observing that the medications are taken as prescribed. All care provided is expected to be documented timely and accurately based on the program requirements specified on the DBHDD Provider Manual /and program required licensure/and other regulatory requirements applicable for the program. Close communication and collaboration with program manager and/or fully licensed therapist as well as other care providers is expected in order to provide comprehensive care based on each individual’s needs. Good computer skills and extensive daily documentation is required. Employees must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
