JOB
This position is responsible for assisting the site director and lead counselor in the planning and facilitation of a balanced youth summer recreation program.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
The primary function of this position is to assist with facilitating and leading small groups of children in various activities, entertainment and educational programs that include: sports, games, arts & crafts, swimming, canoeing, bicycling, archery, fishing, field trips, and special events.Will also perform other duties as assigned.
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
MANDATORY CAMP IN-SERVICE TRAINING will be held: June 3 - June 7, 2024 CAMP DATES: June 10 - August 2, 2024 Must be able to perform extensive physical activity and work outdoors in all weather conditions.Must also be able to bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 lbs.Camp staffing levels are subject to minimum enrollment and camper participation.
