Role Purpose Statement

Seeking a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced production environment and enjoys managing a group of employees focused on delivering the taste of the world to make our airline customers' day better. Bi-lingual candidates will be strongly considered.

Main Accountabilities

Supervisor Responsibility

• Ensure compliance and engagement in all government regulatory agencies standards FDA, USDA, OSHA, EPA, HACCP, GMP.
• Control area of responsibility maintain area is properly organized, staffed, and directed.
• Executes food production activities, e.g. prep, cooking, proper cleaning, storing, and ensure ability to pass all inspections at any time.
• Document, follow up, and teach department processes to implement improvements.
• Ensure on time and accurate production and/or catering of all flights.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with all safety regulations
• Guide, motivate, and develop staff within the Human Resources policies
• Manage productivity hours and costs; initiate and steer corrective actions in case of deviations, obtain desired results and achieve productivity goals
• Participate and support company-sponsored initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing, Employee Engagement, Safety, and Production systems.
• Manage the kitchen to ensure it is fully operational

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• Excellent oral, written, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Good knowledge of MS Office, Windows-based computer applications, with the ability to learn internal company computer programs.
• Management Experience a plus
• College degree, Culinary Arts Program, or equivalent knowledge required.
• Additionally, one to three years of related work experience
• Develop and lead others to obtain desired results and achieve productivity goals.
