Job Summary:

The training coordinator will work closely with the Director of Training. Actively managing all aspects of training with a heavy focus on providing visually appealing training content and helping to support the overall success of LightPoint.They will apply their knowledge of art, design, organizational and marketing skills to ensure Ledvance is executing on the best training experience possible for in-person, on-demand, live-streaming and library content. They will also work with the entire marketing team to assist with promotional and branding materials, communication media, and other print and digital materials including spec sheets, installation sheets and packaging.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Director of Training in various day-to-day training aspects.
  • Develop content and PPT creation as it pertains to industry news and products.
  • Oversee the onboarding training requirements to ensure all new hires are going through the required training in a timely manner.
  • Work with marketing to ensure timely communication of training schedules, updates, and information to relevant leaders (regional managers and agent managers).
  • Manage all content on Training page.
  • Research and stay on top of relevant industry news; convert findings into bullet points so Director of Training can create Podcasts.
  • Manage Podcast schedule and guests to ensure we stay on track with new content.
  • Monitors LightPoint budget to ensure that training costs do not exceed budgeted funds. Creates reports on training costs and expenses.
  • Coordinates installation videos
  • Evaluate and facility evaluation methods to determine the effectiveness of training programs. Use Jotforms to create surveys, feedback, course certificates. Gather feedback from participants and work with leaders to adjust training programs as needed.
  • Keep, maintain and generate records and reports of training activities, progress, attendance, and social media use. Produce monthly metrics and identify areas for change or improvement.
  • Undertake a variety of project work; assist in collaborating with entire marketing team and product managers as well as other key business stakeholders/departments to understand the product management cycle and the resources and tools needed to successfully train.
  • Work with Senior Digital Marketing & Artistic Lead to come up with social media campaigns to ensure training is continuously communicated on our social media sites.
  • Research & develop a plan to ensure banners, videos and other training materials are provided to our distributor so they can easily publish on their websites and company digital displays. Continue to ensure new content is being shared timely. Create new product banners to highlight the selling features of our products.
  • When necessary, assist with spec sheets, install sheets and packaging for product launches. Ensure all spec sheets contain the required information and they meet our company format in all regards from content to formatting.
  • Ensure all logistical aspects of training, such as rooms, materials, and equipment are in place including local hospitality, coordinating food and beverage and stocking LightPoint with snacks and refreshments.
  • Ordering and facilitating weekly meals, completing inventory, and ordering supplies as needed, and assisting in event set up.
  • Manage attendance logistics: booking rooms, coordinating travel from hotel to training and events.

Education and Experience:

  • BA in Sales & Marketing preferred.
  • Associates of Arts Degree with focus on Marketing considered.
  • Significant coursework in Art, Graphic Design, Marketing, or related disciplines highly preferred
  • Experience using Microsoft Office

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds.

  • Position is located on-site in Westfield, IN and is Monday – Friday, standard business hours.
  • Position is not eligible for work sponsorship or relocation assistance.
  • Position is eligible for LEDVANCE referral bonus.
