As a Maintenance Technician, you will partner with the Maintenance Director in creating a safe and vibrant living environment for our residents.
Your expertise will make a tangible difference as you focus on :
- Facility Management : Conduct daily walkthroughs, identifying and promptly addressing malfunctions for repair.
- Skilled Maintenance Solutions : Provide skilled attention to maintenance problems and assigned service requests, ensuring quality workmanship.
- Equipment Troubleshooting : Showcase your ability to diagnose and repair various types of equipment.
- Expense Control : Collaborate with the Maintenance Director in managing parts expenses and reviewing costs before purchases.
- Preventive Care : Assist in coordinating preventative maintenance, adhering to specific schedules and protocols.
- Record Keeping : Maintain essential records, data, and paperwork with precision.
- Resident-Centric Service : Deliver exceptional customer service with empathy and responsiveness.
- Adherence to Safety Standards : Comply with all safety regulations and use chemicals safely.
Maintenance Technician Job Requirements
- Experience : At least 1 year as a Maintenance Tech, preferably in an apartment or multifamily environment.
- Physical Ability : Capability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Emergency Response : Ability to act quickly and remain composed in emergencies.
- Certifications or Licenses : HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
