Position: Staff Accountant
Duration: Contract to Hire
Location: Oakland
Key Responsibilities of the Senior Staff Accountant:
- Lead and oversee account reconciliation processes
- Supervise and manage accounts payable functions
- Demonstrate extensive experience in General Ledger entries and reconciliation
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff
- Conduct financial analysis and provide insights for decision-making
Qualifications for the Senior Staff Accountant role:
- 5-7 years of progressive experience in accounting
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Proven ability to thrive and excel in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
