Job Description
A local client in the Frisco area, is seeking a High Volume AP Specialist. This is a 6 month temporary position and will be filling immediately, can convert for the right candidate.
Assist in accounts payable operations
3 way matching and high volume AP invoicing
This is Hybrid- M / F remote and Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday-onsite- and the interview will be in-person
Process check requests for payments including reviewing, scanning, coding, entering, and ensuring appropriate supporting documentation and approval levels
Create batches for assigned weekly payment runs
Process Travel & Expense reports
Respond to vendor and internal inquiries and research to resolve concerns or discrepancies
Provide support as required by Accounting Management
Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices, as well as other duties assigned
Qualifications
MUST have AP experience NOT AR experience
MUST have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting OR related
2 years' of accounts payable experience
Intermediate Excel skills
Strong communication skills
