Routing Specialist A heating service provider is looking for a detail-oriented, analytical thinker for their full-time Routing Specialist position in West Lebanon, NH! You’ll plan routes for service delivery in the most timely, safe, and efficient manner possible to deliver on this company’s commitment to excellent customer service. Responsibilities of the Routing Specialist

• Use a computerized dispatching system to map and build daily delivery routes
• Forecast daily and weekly demand based on weather, degree day accumulation, and direction on degree day pull
• Build efficient routes by mapping and sequencing deliveries
• Review customer account information for accuracy
• Assign drivers and trucks and provides manifest(s) to satellite offices
• Analyze burning pattern changes for accounts and switch delivery schedule based on seasonality
• Review delivery dispatch logs and update accounts
• Review reports and seek to improve key metrics
• Address after-hours service requests and prepare initial ticket assignment for the next day
• Communicate regularly with dispatcher and delivery manager
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications of the Routing Specialist

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two years of experience in a dispatch environment with computerized dispatch technology is preferred
• Excellent analytical, planning, and scheduling skills
• Strong computer skills
• A commitment to exceptional customer service
• Ability to remain focused on detailed work and meet deadlines in the midst of a busy, sometimes noisy, office environment

Hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm, with Saturdays as overtime during the busy season. Pay is $20/hour.
